Case Study Overview
Problem
10 months ongoing issue with the glycol dehydration system causing reduced uptime and production losses. Traditional Root Cause analysis by the company’s engineers had failed to provide a solution.
Solution
BDC’s Causal Algorithms identified measured “Cause-Effect” relationships (some known, some not). One unknown causal driver was the root cause behind the production loss. This meant future problems could be predicted and a successful solution was provided.
Successful Outcome
Our Causal Algorithms led to a recovery uptime increase of 5% equating to a $10.5 mill USD per month
